Being a Catholic man is like eating a pizza. It’s possible to list the ingredients — the crust, the sauce, the toppings and so on — but the taste is a blend. One item may dominate a bite (more pepperoni than green pepper, more mushroom than garlic), but it’s seldom a single flavor.


You’re Doing Okay, Mom!

As we roll into Mother’s Day, please take a moment to appreciate all of the mothers in your life. They could be in the form of your own mother, perhaps mother-in-law, Godmothers to your children, your own Godmother, and even friends and family who are mothers as well.


Teacher Appreciation Day 2016

I would like to take a moment today to appreciate someone who made a long-lasting impact on my life. It was in the 1992-1993 school year that I met this individual, and the lessons she taught founded my critical thinking abilities and continue to guide my decision-making 23 years later.
